Fun Farm

Contents:

  • 6 Foam Animals
    • blue sheep
    • green goat
    • pink pig
    • red horse
    • black and white cow
    • yellow chicken
  • 24 Playing Cards
  • 1 White Colored Die
  • 1 Black Colored Die

Game Play:

The rules of Fun Farm are so simple and easy, yes you can play it with your little ones. After arranging the animals in a circle, you flip over one card and roll both colored dice. If a color matches, you have to be the first to grab the animal. If none of the colors match, you keep turning over cards and grabbing the animals. As you grab the animals, you keep the cards and put the animal back in the circle. The winner has the most cards at the end of the game.

As simple as this sounds, it is really a test of speed. You can go many rounds before one card matches and then to be the first to grab an animals is more difficult with more players. This game really is a lot of fun. It is fast and easy to play. The best part, it is up to 10 players. If you have a large family, this is a great game for family game night.

Pros:

  • Fun
  • Tests speed
  • Whole family can play
  • Easy to learn
  • Fast game from start to finish
  • Will get your family laughing

Cons:

  • The Fun Farm  animals are made from foam. It feels a little like stress balls. Although I like it for when my little ones play, I feel it will not last as long as my other games.
  • The red circle on the die is more of a maroon. Let your little one know that before they play to minimize confusion. The card looks proper red.

Suggestions:

  • If you have a really little child who knows their colors and animals, let them play, I would not play with more then three as to not overwhelm them, but this game can really be played with kids of all ages.
  • If you want a real challenge. Do not grab an animal unlit both dies match. This will extend the game play and make it more complex.

Age Range:

  • Box: 6+
  • Me: 3+

Bottom Line:

This is a great game. It is so simple and easy to play that it will bring a lot of laughs to your family. My family is always looking for new games to play that we can include the little ones as well. Fun Farm is a game I would recommend. It is a lot of fun for kids and adults of all ages.
